  1. Okay, Liz —> Let me get this straight (to coin a phrase)…No.chairs.in.B&N? What’s the point? I guess they decided to go the way of, “the customer is an unfortunate necessity”? Too bad, I loved that about B&N (the chairs). Oh well- it leaves the door open for someone else to offer it.

RE: your pic of you & your bro- sooo cute! My bro & I were very close, he was the best, sweetest, most child-like in his way of anyone I’ve ever met. Would give you the shirt off of his back- that sort. Unfortunately passed away too soon at 35 yrs. old- quite a few years ago now. Cherish yours (but I see you know this). Hug him one big one for me?

How was the Hobbit? My son (the “purist”- lol), said it ventured from the books…

If you & Lina ever make your way to WA, AU, I’d love to make contact & have a meal out at our Han’s Thai Cafe- best spring rolls I’ve ever had! My treat~ 🙂

Today was warm & muggy here- I am just back from my dip in the Indian Ocean. Waves were huge! Fantastic work-out. Came home to find a b’day card (early) from my one & only living sibling in the states. Now, I’m off to reply, in kind, by snail-mail… 🙂

    1. Tracy,
i knoooooowww. B&N. i’m so disappointed. it only means that i’m gonna scope out some local bookstore/cafe & support local business from now own. ugh. chains.

thanks! my bro & i are pretty close, and it’s always great to be able to spend some time with him. i miss him greatly. your brother sounds like a great person, so very sorry for your loss. i will most definitely cherish & love my bro a little extra in memory of yours. 🙂

the hobbit was pretty good! though i’ve never read the book. hehe. so i can’t say much to that for your son’s sake.

WE WANT TO MAKE OUR WAY TO AU!!! and meeting up with you would most def be something on our list of things to do! the cafe sounds fab! you’re so sweet. 🙂

oh, a dip in the indian cean sounds totally exotic & dreamy. happy early birthday!! when is it for real?!

      hugs to you!
