i believe that all people have a story to tell and have a mission to make a difference in this world. so, here, on my blog i’m telling part of my story - my thoughts, dreams, beliefs, and snapshots of my life. i type and write and post. and what’s in my head, in my heart, and from my soul is sent out into the world from my little blog. perhaps i’m really just writing for me; and if you happen to stop by, then you’re getting a peek into my soul and my life. maybe, just maybe, someone will stumble upon my words or pictures from one day and it will make her smile, or challenge him to think, or bring about some peace. so, welcome to my little space. if you’re a first-time visitor, then an extra special welcome to you! take a peek around, and leave your footprints somewhere. i’d love to get to know you too!
as for me, well, here’s a little glimpse:
i’m an american, married to an amazing swedish woman, living in sweden. we’ve got a cat, named zola, who will climb up in your lap as soon as she meets you and your heart will most definitely melt. the three of us live in a cozy downtown apartment on the east coast in sweden. i am from the east coast of the USA – north carolina. easts coasts are my home. and now, i have two of them. how lucky can a girl be?!
when i was young, i never imagined the i would be living the life i do now. never imagined! some may say that i have lived 2 different lives, and on the outside, i guess i have. but on the inside, i am just me. elizabeth. liz. luz. lizzie. while many things have changed, my heart has remained the same. i have learned, grown, and added to my experiences, but i have never lost the core of who i am.
i guess that’s what this journey of life is all about, though. becoming who we were created to be. becoming who we already are. following our bliss. sharing this journey together and learning to love each other as we are. and living a life that is full of wonder, joy, and works for peace.
