balancing the everyday

happy monday, out there. a good weekend was had by all, i hope. mine was a combination of a fun, party-like atmosphere to a cozy, quiet time at home to a busy, goal-focused afternoon. so, i suppose you could say that i did a little bit of everything. actually, that’s how my whole week was. pretty balanced, i guess. and you know how i love balance. hehe. i thought i’d share a few photos from the past week, and all of my little activities and shenanigans as i get back to “real life” again. enjoy, friends!

  1. You’re an awesome photographer Liz. I think my favorite is the one of your girlfriend and cat in bed looking out the window. You really captured a mood there. Beautiful job!!!! 🙂 Peace & Love, Lorlinda

  2. Liz – I have a random question – I used to know this but don’t seem to these days in newer versions of WordPress… If I want to insert pictures into a post, how do I make them full width of writing / post width, therefore all even on the eye?! (I’m sure I used to have a snippet of code is insert in the ‘text’ view which did it automatically? Does this make sense?)
I’m looking for a consistent way to insert full width pictures?

    1. Ok, there are a few things to check:

Within the post place, when you have uploaded an image to the media library, you can see the image that is check and all of it’s image to the right of the media library and all of your photos. On all of that info stuff, there is a place to write a caption resize, etc. There is also a space called “Attachment display settings”. In that area, you choose “full size” in the size section. Try that first.

Then, in your dashboard, if the above dis not work, under Settings, click on Media and choose the size you wish to you for the sizes listed (thumbnail, medium, large). That should fix it too. those sizes are the ones that show up in the media library when you have selected an individual photos to insert. However, if you cluck full size there (as I mentioned in the first part), that should take care of it.

I hope all of that makes sense. 😉 Good luck!

  3. I can never resist looking at the pictures that you post. Very peaceful.
