if you visit belovelive fairly often, then you know i love doing photo journeys, and that i have created my own lists for the past six months. and, just in case you didn’t know, creating these lists, taking photos, sharing them. and meeting new people from all over the world who have taken part in the photo journeys has been a joy beyond belief!
my little photo journey community has been growing on instagram for the past few months by using the hashtag “bllphotoaday. within this group of regular people who, in my opinion, are actually artists, we see each others’ interpretation of the word prompt of the day through beautiful & creative photos. we get a little peek into each others’ lives, and we become like cyber photo pen pals through our comments to each other.
i, personally, receive tons of inspiration and support from the lovely people in the bllphotoaday journeys. it is incredible to connect with others through beautiful images, and to learn about difference places, perspectives, and see different parts of the world.
in july, the photo journey theme was adventure… every day we snapped different photos of words that have to do with thinking of life as an adventure. i didn’t come up with the list on my own, but rather invited others to suggest a word or two or five, and then i organized them into mini-themes and made the list.
now, after a month of adventuring together, i thought it’d be great to have our word prompt for the last day be “favorite adventure quote”. and , thanks to that prompt, i now have more amazing quotes about adventure to inspire me to live life, to follow my dreams, to take risks, and to keep journeying on. woo hoo!
