i celebrated the fourth of july with a few fellow americans in sweden for the first time this year. fun! of course, i have celebrated every year one way or another… last year was extra special. anyway, it was a fun evening last night, so i thought i’d give you a little peek into our celebrations! hoping all you americans had a happy 4th! warning: there are more american flags than one should have around them at any given time…
That was great! What a hoot to see the Red White and Blue flying in front of a Swedish home! If not for that and the Felix ketchup bottle in the background the pics could pass for anywhere in the USA yesterday. It looks like you had a great day!

We’ve spent a few 4ths outside the US, and from the photos of your party, it definitely looks like you did it up right. But, how on earth did you come up with that many American flags? We lived in London for 3 years and we always made sure that we invited our British friends over to celebrate, and for some good-natured rubbing their noses in it. As in, how well their colony did after we booted them out. Best of luck in the upcoming move. ~James
