nothing is weird in asheville.

saturday night we did something that is sooooo asheville. we went to bele chere, the 35 year old street festival which has grown to become the largest of its kind in the southeast USA. unfortunately, the city of asheville, who sponsors & pays for the free festival, has said that this year was the last. booooo…. the word is that it is simply too costly for the city to continue paying for the three-day music, crafts, food, & beer festival.Read More
