tonight’s bedtime story.

finish each day and be done with it. you have done what you could. some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. tomorrow is a new day. you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense. ~ ralph waldo emerson

goodnight, from my little corner of the world.

peace.

  1. Your photos speak for themselves. That’s why I love looking at your work.

I’ve been going over your posts/ blog stalking, lol, and I was going to ask about your thoughts on Canon vs Nikon.

I kind of had the sense that you were using Nikon from the image quality of your work and I was right 🙂 Have you ever tried Canon though? And, which do you prefer?

    1. hihi! stalking buddies, aren’t we? yes, i use nikon. i had a canon years ago, but i am just stuck with my nikons. i find them more user-friendly. 🙂

      1. lol, indeed.

I used Canon, too, because it was popular back then. But, as time went on, Canon’s image quality kind of dwindled…I mean…their focus became more on MP size rather than White balance development/ color quality…and the lenses, I realized were pretty much almost the same…

Nikon took a little bit of time to get used to but there’s a lot less post processing…is this the same for you? Seems like Nikon stays true to color while Canon usually has an orange tinge to it/ dull colors without post processing.

K, I’ll shut up now, lol.

  2. I’m liking this quote… I’m the master in overthinking EVERYTHING. Not what other people do. I’m way to lazy to hold a grudge for longer than a few hours. But what I do. So will mentally tatoo that quote in my mind. Thx & Luv

    1. we are always harder on ourselves, aren’t we? you are a beautiful person, nicole. remember that! xo

  3. “Finish each day and be done with it.” I m having a hard time with that lately. But what great advice Emerson gives!
