A weekend in Ireland // Part Two: Irish countryside

Having enjoyed a few hours in Dublin after we arrived, Lina and I hopped a train to somewhere to the north of Dublin… to be picked up by our friend!

Nicole lives in the Irish countryside in a beautiful house that she + her late husband bought a couple of years ago. This very special weekend together was to be our first time visiting their home. Admittedly, it was not as we had expected, since our friend had passed away a few months ago, but it was so amazing to have a chance to see the home that they had created and have a chance to feel his presence in the space.

It turned out to be an absolutely beautiful weekend, with long, slow mornings of coffee, conversations, and play time with the little man. Afternoons of adventure + fun together. And cozy, warm nights sipping wine, watching movies, and just being together.

I’ve got a few photos to share with you from our weekend… and then our second video from our trip. It truly was a weekend of magical moments, mystery, history, and the incredible chance to just be together. Sharing time with important people… it doesn’t get better than that.

Have you ever been to Ireland?! We love it, and we’ve seen a lot around Dublin, but there is so much that we want to explore. Feel free to share any tips in the comments!

Love to you all, my dear ones.

xoxo. liz.
