My mission

It is my intention to help you live a wild, mindful, and authentic life, in whatever way you envision that life to be. I want to help you discover who you are, what you want, and how to create that life that you are longing for.

You may be looking for someone to talk with, someone to listen to you as you sift through all of those crazy, unanswerable, existential questions, someone to walk with you on your search for your truth, or someone to help you put into action the dreams + goals you have for your life.

Or you may simply want some tips on slow, mindful living, some spiritual inspiration, some stories + adventures from an expat american, a playlist with some new music, or just some pretty pictures to look at.

You may not even know what you want, but you feel unsettled and unsure about something.

Whatever it is that you are seeking, I am here, belovelive is here, to provide you with a moment of peace and a bit of inspiration on your journey. As a life coach, or simply as a blogger. But always a fellow pilgrim.

I am here to help you create the life that you want through coaching sessions, or to inspire you as you follow my blog, which documents my own adventures + journeys in creating the mindful, slow, intentional, wild life that I desire.

So, read on + click around + decide how it is that I can best be of service to you.

What does a life coaching session with me look like?

// The basics: Regular sessions are usually 45 minutes long, every 2 weeks, or as we determine is best for you. The usual number of sessions is 8 – 12. Again, together we decide what is needed and what is best. Sessions are available in person, by phone, or via Skype.

// Your first session is free. This is your chance to get to know me and my style of coaching and for me to know you and understand your goals.  If you aren’t sure what your goals are, that’s ok.  Many times they become clear during our first few sessions.

// Client-based: Life coaching looks very different from person to person. My approach to coaching is quite fluid and flexible, depending on the questions + goals at hand. In other words, it’s all about you.

// Focused + goal-oriented: The focus is centered on your questions, concerns, present situation, goals, and dreams… what you are seeking to discover and/or change. I always end my sessions with a summary of what we have discussed and a challenge for you to take with you until our next session. This is usually in the form of a concrete, measurable goal, something that helps you take a step towards creating the life that you want.

// Conversational: Sometimes you talk. Sometimes I talk. We share a dialogue. We tell stories. I do not talk at you, but I do discuss with you.  And we do that through conversation: listening, sharing, talking, and reflecting together.

// Empowering: My main purpose is to empower you to uncover the hidden jewels within and then live life in the most authentic, inspired way that makes sense to you.

// Spiritual + Secular: I am more that happy to talk about things with my clients from a spiritual perspective (inter-religious and non-denominational) or a purely secular one. While I personally seek to live a spiritual (not religious-based) life, each person’s path is his or her own, so whatever perspective resonates and touches one’s soul most deeply is really all that matters. Of course, if you are seeking spiritual coaching or simply have big life questions rolling around in your head, I welcome existential, theological conversations as well.

// Resourceful: I draw inspiration from all kinds of people and from all kinds of places (part of my belief that all of life is sacred), and, from time to time, when appropriated and related, I will share meditations, readings, prayers, practices, music, and other resources which you may find helpful and inspiring on your journey.

What you can expect me to do:

→ Guide and support you as you awaken to the power within you to create the life that you want.

→ Help you define and notice the divine, universal energy flowing within you + inspiring and empowering you.

→ Help you discover and live the sacred moments everyday.

Tips for working with a Life Coach (how you can get the most out of our sessions):

// Stay open to new experiences, practices, thoughts.

// Dedicate time between sessions to reflect + work on your goals. This is where the magic happens, my friends. In the midst of everyday, mundane life.

// Approach everyday (every moment, even) as a day to create your life exactly as you wish. There is nothing, and no one, holding you back. You have all of the power within you.

// Stay present and aware. Slow down + begin to observe everything around you. You are exactly where you are supposed to be right now, today. Breathe in calm.

// Trust the timing of the universe. Everything is unfolding exactly as it should.
