wednesday wisdom: a la paige (for the love of wanderlust).

i have this friend who loves to travel. she also loves to blog about her travels (find her blog here). therefore, this friend and i have tons in common. travel. blogs. photos. living life. and to honor all of those things we love, we’re planning ways that we can incorporate our traveling and blogging together somehow – not merge our blogs, mind you, but inspire each other and collaborate. and load up & take some road trips together! so, we’re gonna brainstorm some ideas and see what we come up with.

well, this amazing friend came for a visit a few weeks ago (read about her visit here). and that’s how we got this collaboration idea in our heads. but now, guess what?! she loved asheville so much, she decided to come back for another visit. and she arrives TODAY!

to celebrate paige’s return to asheville, i asked her to share one of her favorite travel quotes. one that really sums up what travel, and life, mean to her. so, that’s the quote that i want to share with you in this wednesday wisdom post. it’s a quote about how to live life to the absolute fullest. isn’t that what we’re all looking for? that experience of truly being alive and truly ourselves? i dare say that this quote sums it up completely.

so, go on, read and absorb the words. and then, get out there and live your life! take risks. chase happiness. believe in yourself. and follow your soul.

“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.”
