Celebrated a feminist 4th this year.✊🏼

And I found myself wondering: what does it mean to be free? It sure doesn’t mean regulating bodies and love, and not guns.

There is so much work to do to ensure independence and freedom and equality for ALL. Not only in the USA, but in communities + countries all around the world.

‘Cuz we’re all sisters + brothers. And, in my opinion, it’s time for rising of the divine feminine to help us find our way out of this mess and back to each other. 🪬

June 30 | I did it! June has come to a close now.

June 30 | I did it! June has come to a close now. And I have documented every single day. One photo posted in my grid for each day. I didn’t try to be artsy, or matchy or perfect. I literally chose a moment, a memory, at the end each day.

And, while I shared it here in this public space, this spontaneous mini-challenge was the most personal, grounding ritual that I’ve practiced all year. Through all of the activity, changes, disappointments, and beauty of the month, I created a moment of calm gratitude with each daily post. And it gave me a whole, healing, hopeful, centering sense of being for each day.

Now, summer has begun and vacay is around the corner. The sun is high in the sky. The air is warm. The earth is teeming with life. Energy and emotions are flowing. Intuition and light are here to guide us into this next month and the middle of the calendar year.

It time to reset, to rest, and to realign. Perhaps even to reevaluate and return to the deepest part of our souls.

But before I drift into July, I want to bow down to the fiery, bright, grounding energy of June one last time.

With this one last photo, I bid farewell to the moments of June. And I prepare for the soft, slow energy of July.

June 29 | A night out with my love + her sister. A long, late sister’s night of conversation, laughs, tears, and chats about aaaaall the things. And reminder of the power of female gatherings.

Plus… a few dreams and ideas grew from this sister’s night out.

Interested in an safe, accepting women’s group filled with conversations on important issues, existential questions, spiritual rituals, and deep connections with self, nature, and others in Norrköping? I’m/we’re thinking about organizing one after the summer!

With all that’s happening in the world + the threats to women’s rights, it feels like the perfect time to gather our power and support each other.

June 28 | After a week of glorious, hot, summer sunshine… today we’ve got glorious, cooling rain.

I just love how nature maintains balance and flows in cycles. Such a lesson + inspiration for me to allow the flow of my days + my energy to ground and balance me.

Headed home to the open windows + doors + that glorious fresh air!

June 27 | Perhaps it’s because our one year anni

June 27 | Perhaps it’s because our one year anniversary of moving to Norrköping is coming up, coupled with the fact that it feels that we’re finally feeling settled and a bit stable, even in the continued chaos of our personal life… but I find myself wanting and needing to deeply re-examine who I am, where I am, what I want, how I live.

Mid-2022 is here and I feel like I really want to take time to reflect on the past. And I mean dig waaaay deep into the past. To give myself time to feel memories hidden deep in my soul. And then, I want to create time to honestly process and really sink into the present. Where I am. How I’m living. What works and doesn’t work. And, finally, I want to consciously discover + create a few intentions to guide and inspire me forward.

I think that right now, during these slow summer days, halfway into this wild + crazy year, this is the perfect time to ground down and reset.

So, loves, that’s what I’m going to do. And you? Do you usually pause and reflect halfway through the year? 🪬
