life NYC

workin’ on it.

18 Jul 2011

i made it home to sweden yesterday around lunchtime. i’m pretty sure that i was delirious by then. i woke up in the morning on saturday in our hotel in the middle of the hustle & bustle of times square in NYC and i went to sleep last night in my cozy, big bed in sweden. that means that in between i shopped on 5th avenue, enjoyed my last cup of starbucks’ chai tea latte, made my way to the airport & boarded a plan FULL of babies & children, watched 2 movies and an episode of glee on the plane, didn’t get any sleep, took a bus from stockholm to norrköping (home), cleaned the apartment some, lina unpacked, went grocery shopping, watched a movie on the sofa, saw the last 10 minutes of the women’s world cup soccer game, and had a homesick-for-the-states meltdown with lina. all that over the course of 2 actual days, but really one long day without sleep for us.

i’m feeling much more like a human being today after a shower and some chill time in our apartment. it rained most of the day, so it turned out to be a perfect day to stay home and deal with the jet lag, which i am beating like a champ by the way. while i’m being a lump on our sofa, i’m beginning to fiddle with all our pictures. so… i’m working on it. i think there will be a series of multiple posts coming. time to be creative! and it’s good to be back on my computer blogging. check back soon!

peace & love.
