part 2 is comin’ up right now! these are pictures of my nearest & dearest… my amazing, fun, eclectic, hilarious family! they inspire me, make me laugh, support me, and have given me my sense of home – no matter where i am or where they are. one of the reasons i consider them my home is because this summer was our 27th summer vacation together!!! i was 10 years old the first summer that we gathered together at the beach. over the years there have been births, deaths, marriages, and tons of traditions & laughter. some things are the same, and some things are different. we keep some old traditions, while we branch out to explore new ones. the summer beach trips together have truly, truly been the only things that have been constant in my nomadic, ever-changing life. and we all intend to keep it going… every year, we may not talk about it, but we are always reminded that this is what holds our family together.
