well, here’s my take on the photo challenge for today: your view. i decided to snap a few little shots throughout the day to show my view at different times & different places. take a peek at what i saw…
started off the day fairly bright & early with a meeting at work. gonna have a weekend camp for some youth next weekend, and it was time for me to lead our last-minute, what-do-we-need-to-do planning meeting. it went well, by the way.
had a little chai latte & did a little iPad blogging at one of my fav cafes.
had a view of some yummy goodies at the cafe, too.
did a little interior decorating magazine reading while my love slept.
watched a downpour & a thunderstorm outside the window. cozy.
walked in my neighborhood. finally, some sunshine again.
ended the day by meeting a friend at a pub. sipped on a free glass of wine (the bartender broke a glass right in front of us, so our drinks were on the house). jackpot.
what did you see this weekend? what was the view from where you were? you know, looking around, observing… many times just being aware brings me peace.
here’s to wishing you a good night’s sleep with sweet dreams & peaceful rest.
Nice. I’ll have to take such a challenge myself. My views became very exiciting during Euro2012 🙂
Haha! I watched about 15 minutes of Denmark & Holland last night. Thanks for commenting!
The Blue Angels are flying overhead of my house this week! It’s a unique opportunity for folks in these parts so it has created some traffic jams for today’s show after the practices earlier in the week. (Spotted by my spouse who was not out and about as early as I was before people started coming this way). Having those military jets flying makes me appreciate that we are usually a jet-free zone around here. I only ever hear medical helicopters and prop planes, so this noise is a little disturbing, and altho the antics in the air are pretty impressive, all I can think about is what a way to waste resources, with all the jet fuel that is being used…so you get a little bit of my political “view” too.
Barb, thanks for sharing your views with me. 🙂 I love to see the Blue Angels, or any airplane show… it’s so… powerful. I don’t know, somehow I feel a sense of freedom seeing them maneuver themselves in the air. But, I agree with your political view too. 😉
